I think seniors value and understand the importance of democracy. They are inspiration for the younger generation..

Our seniors are aware of their rights as well as their roles to support the family, community and Nation at large. The need of the hour is to create ACCESS with needbased supports so that all the seniors can do wonders. Government of India has initiated the Accessible India Campaign for creating accessible environments with specific frame of action plan. In this process several NGOs are working on this issue and contributing significantly in creating friendly and accessible environments with spaces at all the levels. The family, community and NGOs should support the seniors mostly as facilitators for utilizing the rights as well as to contribute for the development of people and the Nation.
