Today as a Technical Advisor attended the Annual General Body Meeting of PARIVAAR FEDERATION OF PARENTS ASSOCIATIONS. Among the the parents, some Seniors (both male & female) are worried more about their children’s training & rehabilitation as an empowerment for better living in an inclusive community. In addition, the other major concern is to answer for the concern that “what will happen to the child after ud?” Later clarified for their concern that Government has schemes for running Like Care Centers with better safety & protection. Given the reference of such centres and assured to develop such centres for such children of these Seniors. The man with 90+ who has contributed a lot for this federation since last 30 years has got positive attitude to create secured environment for his son of 50+. Later shared the provisions of various disability Acts of National & International one. Majority of these parents are well connected with NGOs / Parents Associations and made easy to develop need based centers for providing training & rehabilitation for the children and relief to SENIORS. I feel it as an opportunity to work for such marginalized groups.
