    For Leading an active and healthy life along with keeping your body fit, it is very important to keep your mind healthy and active because an active mind is strongly associated with a healthy body. That is why we always say that both fit body and mind are an important determinant of healthy ageing.

    An important component of mental fitness is Cognitive health i.e. the ability to clearly think, learn, and remember.     The relevance of psychosocial factors in mental health of old age is most important. The supportive role of children in making their seniors self dependent and not stereotypically dependent on their children. This will increase their sense of worth too
